October 22nd’s “HOFFTOBER” live comedy show/horror movie screening features the 1925 classic silent film The Phantom of the Opera, starring Lon Chaney, Norman Kerry, and Mary Philbin in a macabre masterpiece of terror, intrigue, and the most infamous tale of unrequited love ever to grace the silver screen. But this embodiment of the classic story will be silent no more! The scream team will be bringing you a brand new soundtrack complete with a cast of vocal performers! This week’s special guest will be musician, Saturday Night Movie Sleepovers podcast host, and author of Scored to Death: Conversations with Some of Horror’s Greatest Composers, J. Blake Fichera.

On October 15th, the Hoff’s Public Domain Horrorfest live comedy show/horror film screening series showcases Roger Corman’s 1957 film Not of This Earth, starring Paul Birch, Beverly Garland and Jonathan Haze in a mind-bending sci-fi tale of interdimensional travel and mysterious men in black. Your host Hoff Matthews will also be chatting with this week’s special guest, award-winning horror filmmaker Sydney Clara Brafman (“The Only Thing I Love More Than You Is Ranch Dressing,” NYC Women Filmmakers board member). 10/15, 9pm EST on YouTube!

Your favorite live comedy show and horror film screening series returns to YouTube Thursdays in October at 9:00 PM EST!
